Here is a little glimpse at a finished project from last week, the long stitch binding as sewn by Diane. I love how she went back and wove through the binding, which I did NOT teach in class, nice job!!

This week we made a little buttonhole binding journal, we all used pretty much the same materials, so here is the one I made, I actually sewed one set of signatures in upside down, so I am going to give it away. To be entered into the drawing leave a comment at either here or at my studio blog by June 25th, and I’ll pull a winner from a hat! The journal is approx. 5.5 x 4.5 x 1 with 80 pages of 70lb cotton paper, bound with cotton thread in a cover of handmade paper. Good Luck!!
